Hi friends,
Today my post is a bit different . I have not done a complete project but have tried to give various ideas about my all time favourite embellishment the "ROSETTE"
Rosette is a long strip of paper which is folded like an accordion and then formed to make a flower like shape.
I wanted to make rosettes with different looks and styles.
I am sure you would be able to pick up your favorite one and do give it a try...
style #1 Shabby Chic
This style is everybody's favourite these days and most of the resources can be found easily at local craft stores.
I took a long strip of lace and formed a flat flower .added a layer of pink net and a crochet flower. That's it just add the pretty vintage lady cameo resinand ta da...the most gorgeous embilishmemt is ready to impress everyone.
Style #2 Grungy
This one is super cool and very easy to make. I selected a patterned paper by Tim Holtz called Kraft Resist and punched it with my scalloped punch at one egde. Then formed the rosette and added the Angel wing charm and the pendant .
I stamped an image ,sticked it inside added a pearl string and filled in some Clear UTEE.
Style #3 Vintage
This one was so fun to create... I can not resist using KRAFT and pink blooms...lol!!
So I took a kraft coloured card stock ,dry embossed it withCourtyard folder and glittered it with Star dust at the edges.
Then made a basic rosette and loaded it with micro roses andcharms (Bow charm and clock charm)
😍😍😍
Style # 4 Abstract
This one was an accident!!!! Lol!!!
This circular thing was not planned initially but I kept adding baker's twine and it suddenly started looking nice...
Next I added the most beautifulbird charm ,brads and few tiny flowers :)
Style # 5 CAS :)
Clean and simple is quite cute to create and there are endless options which can be added on the top.i used the big brad by Kaiser craft called
Few options can be:
Brads
Buttons
Stickers
Eyelets
Rhinestones
That's all for today's post
I hope you liked what I created.Making embellishments is always fun and I m sure you will give it a try.
Lots of love
Arjita
